For more than fifteen years, photographer Damien Lafon has explored Bali through the lens of its deep connection between people and nature.
This project offers a rare aerial perspective, revealing the island as a living tapestry shaped by tradition, spirituality, and the forces of the natural world. From vast rice terraces to volcanic landscapes, from sacred temples to remote coastlines, every image is captured from above to reveal patterns, stories, and energies that cannot be seen from the ground.
Filmed across the island over several months, Bali From the Sky invites us to rediscover Bali through a new altitude, where beauty meets meaning and where the harmony between humans and nature becomes clear.
