MA was born from a need to express devotion and awe toward the forces of life and nature. It’s about how the fire of life lives inside of you. In your breath, your words, your body.
In Japanese, ma (間) means the space between things, not just an absence, but a presence. A pause that holds something invisible but real.
This short film lives in that space, in the silence between sounds, the stillness between movements, the places where something deeper can be felt.
MA is a cinematic poem — a collaborative piece made by a group of artists in Bali, creating together as a form of play, presence, and reverence.
